Community Water Filtration
Demonstration and roll-out of low-cost sand bucket filtration technology for household water purification in underserved communities in Somalia, providing an affordable and locally maintainable solution to access clean drinking water in areas without piped infrastructure.
Impact: Hundreds of households reached with clean water access

Water Quality Analysis & Monitoring Training
Delivered a 4-day technical training on water quality analysis and monitoring for 16 WASH professionals from World Vision International, PSAWEN, IRC, Save the Children, and the Ministry of Health in Garowe, Puntland. Trainees were equipped with microbiological, chemical, and physical water testing skills using the Wagtech portable field kit.
Impact: 16 professionals trained, 85%+ satisfaction rate, significant pre/post knowledge gains

TOT Hygiene Promoters Training
Facilitated a 5-day Training of Trainers programme for hygiene promoters operating in Belet-Xaawa District, Gedo Region, Somalia. Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office through Arche Nova and ASEP. Training covered hygiene domains, excreta disposal, waterborne disease prevention, and household water treatment methods including SODIS, Aqua tabs, and PUR sachets.
Impact: Hygiene promoters trained and certified across Gedo Region, Somalia

Environmental & Social Impact Assessment — IFSLS
Conducted a comprehensive ESIA for Mercy Corps Somalia's Inclusive Finance for Somalia's Livestock Sector project, funded by SIDA. Assessment covered four regions across Somalia including Baidoa, Jowhar, Kismayo, and Mogadishu, evaluating environmental risks, gender inclusion, zoonotic disease risks, and financial governance safeguards.
Impact: 14 impact categories assessed, full ESMP delivered, 4 regions covered
