Ahmed Omar Bare
Ahmed brings over 25 years of progressive leadership in humanitarian response, WASH program development, and human resource management across Somalia and Kenya. He has successfully led multi-million-dollar projects with organizations including CARE International, Solidarités International, ARC International, and Oxfam GB, securing funding from major donors including USAID, ECHO, and UNICEF. As Humanitarian Program Manager at CARE International in Kismayo, he oversaw operations across Jubaland and Southwest Somalia, managing a team of 100+ staff with full HR and governance oversight. His WASH programs at Solidarités International directly improved access to clean water and sanitation for over 100,000 people in Lower Juba through infrastructure development, hygiene promotion, and sustainable water management. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Mount Kenya University, a Diploma in Water Technology from Kenya Water Institute, and a Certificate in WASH Specialist in Emergencies and Humanitarian Settings.

Ibrahim Sheikh
Ibrahim served as Country WASH Advisor at CARE International Somalia/Somaliland, bringing over 20 years of specialized expertise in WASH programming and public health across humanitarian and development contexts. He has driven innovative solutions including the development of effective water filtration technologies and environmental risk management frameworks that have benefited thousands of communities. With a Master's in Community Health & Development and specialized training in WASH emergencies, Ibrahim has successfully managed multi-sectoral stakeholder engagement with communities, local authorities, UN bodies, and humanitarian agencies. His technical leadership spans environmental impact assessments, climate-smart WASH interventions, and sustainable infrastructure development across East Africa.

Mukhtar Bulale Muhamed
Mukhtar is a visionary public health leader with over 25 years of transformative leadership in shaping national and regional health policies, driving multi-sectoral population programs, and strengthening health systems across East Africa. He has served as Public Health Research Specialist at Somalia's National Institute of Health, Public Health Specialist at WHO, and County Executive Committee Member for Health & Water in Garissa County, Kenya. With a Master of Public Health from Maseno University and expertise spanning health promotion, disease surveillance, emergency preparedness, and strategic stakeholder engagement, Mukhtar has contributed to Somalia's COVID-19 response strategy, represented Somalia at the 2022 IANPHI Annual Conference in Stockholm, and published extensively on public health policy across East Africa.

Abdullahi Daud Mohamed
Abdullahi is a seasoned Community Health and Development Specialist with over 30 years of experience empowering disadvantaged communities across East Africa. He currently serves as Deputy Director of Public Health at Garissa County Government, where he leads health system reforms, disease surveillance, emergency response, and policy advocacy. Previously, Abdullahi served as Deputy Chief of Party at AMREF managing USAID-funded health initiatives, and as Provincial Disease Surveillance Coordinator for North Eastern Province. He was awarded Best Public Health Officer (National Category) by the Kenya Ministry of Health in 2008. He holds a Master in Community Health & Development from Great Lakes University.
